Dear Mr. Mitchell,

Thank you so much for your kindness to let Michiko stay at your home and learn so many things from your sweet warm home.

Now Michiko says she is coming back to your home again to study English, if her family approves of her idea. She is so eager to come back to your home and says she has your permission, but if you think something else, please tell me. I am sure her mother will write to me as soon as Michiko comes back.

With Gassho,

Rev. Shunryu Suzuki

P.S.

In your last letter you told me that you are waiting for Michiko's coming back to your home. But I still cannot trust my eyes. So I am asking you again about her coming back. I shall be very glad to tell Michiko something for you as my own opinion.
